Event description

Rising moderate long-period swells are reaching the area and causing very hazardous conditions. Significant wave heights of 2.4-3.1 meters or 8-10 feet occasionally reaching near 3.7 meters or 12 feet. Swell period is 9-10 seconds and easterly swells reaching 2.4-2.7 meters or 8-9 feet. High threat to life, livelihood, property and infrastructure of those using the affected coastlines.

Instructions

No one should enter waters of main warning areas until further advised by the Met Office. Avoid rocky and coastal structures along affected coastlines. Take extreme caution when navigating the coasts.
